Nano Technology

Nano Technology is the Science of Technology of small things that are less then 100 nm in size.
Nano Technology is the study of making small microscopic things.Nano Technology is the study of small things and can be used across all other science fields, such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Material Science, and Engineering.

A Nano Technology is one billionth of a meter, roughly of width of three or four atoms. The average human hair is about 25,000 nm wide.
Nano Technology History:

An idea and the concept behind the Nano Science and Nano Technology starts by physicist Richard Feynman.The Term "Nano Technology" had been coined by Nario Taniguchi in 1974.

Approaches of Nano Technology:
1: Bottom up Approach: In Bottom up approach different devices and materials are constructed from molecular components.
2: Top Down Approach: In Top Down approach Nano objects and materials are created by large entities.

Tools and Technology:

There are several tools used in Nano Technology

(i) The Atomic Force Microscope(AFM)
(ii) The Scanning Tunneling Microscope(STM)
